What was the first rock festival in Japan?
Every time summer comes to Japan, a lot of Japanese rock festivals are held. By the way, the first rock festival in Japan was The First Nippon Rock Festival held in 1969. At the time, rock was not so popular because folksongs were just in fashion and it made them hold the event quietly at the Welfare Pension Hall, not outdoors.
