Tokyo Tower, it is a symbol of Japan for foreigners. And also it symbolizes Showa era to Japanese elderly men and women. The tower has been a tourist spot in Tokyo. Well, the 100 millionth visitor came in July of 1989, the end of Showa era and the beginning of Heisei era although it might be just distortion.
