About our introductory articles

Beer means, in Japan, hopped, golden, and carbonated alcohol drinks. What is called, it is pilsner beer. But unfortunately, we can hardly have chances to have pure pilsner beer in Japan. Pure pilsner beer is made from just malt and hops. Maybe little of Japanese are particular about the ingredients of beer they usually drink.

Japanese pure delicious beer cannot be in Japan? There is. Supplied by Kirin Brewery Company, Kirin Ichiban is it. It is Japanese pure pilsner beer; made from just malt and hops.

Some might not have tasted but everybody would have heard the name in Japan. Kirin Ichiban means, as the name, it is made from just the wort firstly pressed on the beer production process. So the original taste of malt, simple taste is had.

In passing, wort pressed after the process is called Niban Shibori; means second press. But pilsner beer made from just Niban Shibori is never seen in Japan.

Ichiban Shibori
Version of 135ml
Alcohol: 5.0 %
Poured into a glass, the savory smell of hops rises. No off-flavor is felt in holding it in a mouth and it sure goes down well. You can get at a reasonable price and choose the size enough.

Will it be because of the pure savory taste? Kirin Ichiban is, exported, on sale and of good repute in several countries over the world like Germany, a beer-growing center. It's a singular example of Japanese beer.
