Reasoning of Mikeneko Holmes
Paperback Version
So long as that is the series, after all you must read the first volume; Reasoning of Mikeneko Holmes published in 1978.

There is a reason. Although it is very famous that his novels are easy to read, the first is exactly out of ordinary. Namely, that includes mysteries at which deep crime novels fans cannot suppress a grunt of admiration.

Katayama always keeps Holmes, his female tortoiseshell cat. On the spot, she takes strange action just like leading him to the goal of the labyrinth. But she had not originally belonged to him. Reasoning of Mikeneko Holmes tells us a story about the first contact of them.

As Akagawa Jiro said he had never thought about the serializing at first, the crime story tastes so dense and still gives fun of ratiocination to the readers so purely. It is one of good whodunits.

It is also popular Akagawa Jiro faithfully raises and visits tombs for the characters dead within his fictions. Summer, it is the season to see the grave. Following his spirit, we must duly visit our forefathers. On the way, how about reading Reasoning of Mikeneko Holmes?
