The Outline of New Farce Idea
Led Yamagami Tatsuhiko to “Gakideka”
Lining up with Akatsuka Fujio, Yamagami Tatsuhiko is called “Ancestor of Japanese gag manga.” Now, “Gakideka” must be the most important work of Yamagami. Then, how did he reach to the peak? Out of “The Outline of New Farce Idea,” also known as Kigeki Shin-shisou Taikei, that is.
Before Yamagami made up “Gakideka,” Yamagami Tatsuhiko had written and illustrated serious manga like “Hikaru Kaze.” By the way, “Hikaru Kaze” means a shining wind and that is a story which describes imaginary Japan which has its own troops for attacking other countries, under America’s brain washing.
How did he take a royal crown of Japanese Gag Manga King? Between “Gakideka” and “Hikaru Kaze,” Yamagami built “The Outline of New Farce Idea.” It means the manga became a bridge of his career.
The contents are very heavy, erotic, and taste strong as Yamagami said “You know, when I diluted “Kigeki Shin-shisou Taikei,” “Gakideka” was born.” We may say Japan must take pride in the profound and deep gag manga.
Sakamuke Harusuke is the main character. He is 22 years old, but has no regular occupation. He is making his livelihood by handling something questionable like paste made of sperm.
“”Kigeki Shin-shisou Taikei” is a lingering scent of youth” said Yamagami. Most characters have strong sex drive and are worrying endlessly. Time has gone by, but what youth means has never changed. So it will pierce and work even nowadays.
“The Outline of New Farce Idea” must have you feel the glitter before an immortal work named “Gakideka” was born. And then, Yamagami Tatsuhiko got to “Gakideka” by the hidden masterpiece.
