About our introductory articles

Toyo Keizai Inc. (Unlisted) has published their economic magazine “Weekly Toyo Keizai” since 1895, the Meiji era. Basically, comes out every Monday at 690 yen. Japan Magazine Publishers' Association reports its circulation marks about 110,000 on average in 2010s.

That is the oldest weekly magazine in Japan and then, the reliability is high among every generation. Like a bridge between Japan economy and people in the streets, the economic magazine gives a lot of great information to all of the grades.

A tendency of their thought looks left-leaning and liberal, because they often comment on stratified society. That is their tradition. Around the World War 2, they were critical about the Manchurian Incident and the Siberian Intervention. They were able to keep publishing because changed into allowing the Manchurian Incident in 1933.

However, it basically stands affirmatively to the market economy and capitalism. So long as that is an economic magazine, natural.

As mentioned above, the weekly economic magazine has a wide readership. Every Monday, that brings a lot of gifts to not just business persons and financiers, but also people in the streets. Then, I can recommend if you were a new worker who desired to start reading economic magazines. Of course, it is available when you are middle and old.
