About our introductory articles

"In Search Of Lost Love" is the first autobiography released in 2007, of Yoshii Kazuya who's a Japanese pop singer. He belonged to a rock band The Yellow Monkey that was broken up in 2004 and reunited in 2016. Kazuya has written most of their songs like "Spark" and "Love Love Show."

Why did he release his biography in 2007? The answer is not unrelated to the band's breakup. Just after it broke up, Kazuya was so worried. He'd kept running as a solo singer and created several songs. Then, he found his white hole in 2006. And he must have guessed "I can make my past open to public now."

I'd like you to read the book for knowing more details. How come they broke up? Why did he have to be so worried? Reading the autobiography could bring you to the right place.

What I got from the autobiography is pop singers need to spend some tragic life. As Yoshioka said in "Amagi Goe," artists spending happy lives cannot create anything good.

As the biography tells you, Kazuya'd been in search of love and had relations with many women although was already married, just like John Lennon. In other words, his life might have been tossed about by an illusion named love.

You may say he was wrong. However, I believe the tragedy made his songs persuasive and deep. For the real sorrow within his songs, they have been listened to by a lot of people.
