Established in Obihiro, Hokkaido since 1933 is Rokkatei Confectionery Co., Ltd., which developed and started to launch the ultimate confectionary; Marusei Butter Sandwiches in 1977. Rokka means a hexagon flower, namely, snow crystal. Hokkaido is the northernmost prefecture in Japan. So it means they create imperial white confectionery in a cold land.

Marusei Butter Sandwiches are so popular that amount to about 40 percent of total sales of Rokkatei. Though sometimes you can find and get it at some supermarkets in the main lands of Japan, it is basically a special product in Hokkaido because their policy says they should not produce leaving Tokachi.

The confectionery holds raisin, white chocolate, butter and cream between soft biscuits and lets the eaters addicted to its taste and touch.

How have they produced such an addictive confectionery? They never try to grow up but they desperately try to produce a truly delicious thing without any compromise. Although Hokkaido produces about 60 percent of all wheat produced in Japan, they use wheat flour of North America for their biscuits. They say it is because Rokkatei is always careful in choosing the ingredients for a truly delicious thing.

Their serious attitude has made and grown up its deliciousness. Why don't you have the ultimate confectionery?
