About our introductory articles

In March of 2013, a confectionery maker established in Osaka; Ezaki Glico announced they got to release strawberry cheese cake flavored Giant Cone for two months limitedly. That is for their fiftieth anniversary of Giant Cone because strawberry cheese cake symbolizes Kouhaku, red and white. From March 18, 2013, they are launching it for two months limitedly.

Ezaki Glico started to launch Giant Cone in March 1, 1963. It was spring of the year that they account as dawn of Japanese industries leading to today, as they established Japan's first pedestrian bridge before Osaka station and they developed Sasanishiki, a popular kind of rice, at Miyagi's laboratory in 1963.

At the first time, they had released as Glico Cone. After some times changing its name like Giants Cone and Jet Cone, they have released it as Giant Cone since 1984.

They put ice cream on a cone and moreover put chocolate and nuts onto the ice cream. The ice cream confectionery is very moderate but very delicious. To be given charge, the cones have been produced by Nissei; the biggest cone maker in Japan, which produces most of ice cream cones you have in Japan.

Ezaki Glico has improved and improved ice cream of Giant Cone, too. They have pursued comfortableness in mouths anyway. There are recently four types of flavor of Giant Cone at stores. As they intercalate ganache between its chocolate and ice cream for cookie & chocolate flavored Giant Cone, they realize especially comfortable taste and touch for every type.

It is becoming hotter. We will often want Giant Cone again, won't we?
