About our introductory articles

We have and use a lot of paper in our recent lives. For what do we use most? After all, it is the printing and communication paper. Newspaper and printing paper, they are what we use most among all ways of paper.

Well, paper adequate for printing, they call it coated printing paper. Please here think it is some improved paper for printing. Lately we have used many amounts of information paper and this is the golden age of coated printing paper.

Teijin is a major company of the fiber industry and they have hitherto produced Ecopet (R); polyester fibers recycled from other used polyester products, which own low environmental impact since they don't newly use petroleum. Pushing it on a step, in March of 2013, they released Laser Ecopet (R); coated printing paper based on Ecopet (R). In a word, it is polyester printing paper. Than other kinds of information paper, it is harder to tear up and is more water-resistant anyway.

Normally, hydrogen bonding connects fibers of paper and so it makes paper frailer getting wet. However, we can unite fibers and make paper without hydrogen bond. The paper is non-woven fabrics. Like water resistance and electrical conductivity and so on, we can naturally let the fabrics own some characters which usual paper never has. Laser Ecopet (R) produced by Teijin is a sort of non-woven fabrics and needless to say, is eco-friendly as Ecopet (R).

Laser Ecopet (R) is very easier to make entries by ballpoint pens and to be creased than film paper that we have used as water proof paper. Although they had primarily created and used it for their visiting cards, they got to publish the paper in general this year.

Since it is hard to tear and is waterproof, they will be more auspicious if they use it on marriage information magazines and fortune slips, won't they?
