■Foreigners might get just because it is curious.

W: It might be.

Wakabayashi seems to make much account of sharing the context. Truly, it is important that we have got or not.

W: When I went to Italy, I thought it was natural they manufactured Ferrari there. But they never suit Japanese sceneries. I never deny Japanese go overseas specially. Creators should, however, create something based on culture or climate in which they have grown, I reckon. That must be natural.

■I see, well.

W: The balance is very important. For a long time, Japanese have looked at nothing but the West and have chased them after WW2. Then, we have little seen inside and domestic traditional industry has decayed. If we had taken care of our domestic culture more, it would not have declined. What a waste!

■That is true to be a waste. From now on, how will you develop SOU・SOU?

W: I think we have to act as a mediator between prewar generation and future generation because most Japanese have hardly done after WW2. Using articles by SOU・SOU can do it, I wish. Our mission would be that and it makes us go on in real.

■Thank you for this interview.

W: Thanks.
