About our introductory articles

As a good film for a date, a Japanese animated movie got into the news in 2013 summer. You know, that is naught but “Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day” produced by A-1 Pictures.

“Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day” shows us an ensemble play that wonderfully describes some subtle feelings among childhood friends, which started as both of a late anime and a novel together. It got very popular for a blink and they decided to create the movie.

The story begins with “Super Peace Busters,” it is a group which consists of six little kids. They named themselves so and played at their secret base in a fictional town which uses Saitama as its motif. One day, Menma, a girl of the six members, passed away. That naturally made a great impact on other five kiddies, which gradually had them get apart each other as getting older. But karma makes Manma take charge of the keynote of their stories…

“I was so afraid how viewers accepted since it seemed kind of unsuitable for an animated story” said Nagai Tatsuyuki who directed both of the movie and TV anime. Beyond the late anime audience, their polite animation got grown in popularity, as you know.

Our above introduction might have made you feel heavy because it is anyway around death of a little girl. They took advantage of animation and it tastes also like some fantasy, which lets the film work enough as an entertainment movie.

The film is complementary to TV anime series. It is said it was planned as the compilation of 11 TV anime episodes originally. All of the crews disliked that easy project and then, it got to go as a sequel to TV anime and describe the untold scenes.

As mentioned above, “Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day” became a favorite on their trysts. Moreover, it took the first prize of Pia’s Opening Day Satisfaction Ranking. It means it is an ideal movie you could easily see with your beloved and also it is perfect as settled their big fans. The DVD / Blu-ray are going to lie at the store on March 5, 2014. Why not have for your sweet time with your dearest?
