Various kinds of songs, pops, rock and the like are rearranged and produced by her. Named Reminiscence, but that seems not just to be an album to roll up her background.

Tohoku Earthquake happened on March 11. 2011 and has caused great harm to Japan. Chihiro was born in Koriyama, Fukushima. Then it can be considered Reminiscence must include her message that we should not forget the earthquake and lessons learned from the harm.

Symbolic is its first song Rain, Rain and Rain is her only original song in Reminiscence. Rain means sorrow, tears, grief or the blessings of nature. In the song, she probably plays piano thinking about Fukushima as a stricken area and where they have suffered from radiation accidents since the atomic power plant incident.

She has also released from Decca Label and has based worldwide activities as a jazz pianist on America. But that’s why it is considered Chihiro thinks of home harder than others in Japan.

Of course, she does not show just grief-stricken in the album. Other played songs beyond categories are multicolored and make listeners happy. On the last song, she shows a little of playfulness and you would be made giggle.

A year has passed from that great earthquake. Now, we've got to remember many things about that and this year, listening to this Reminiscence.
