About our introductory articles

Oricon’s recent annual charts of CD tell us only idol groups sell like hot cakes in Japan, as Exile, AKB48, Arashi and so on. That might be unable to be judged unconditionally. But I cannot help thinking rock bands are hardly in demand inside.

Then, how should they go and live from now on? If they were seldom wanted in Japan, it is a right way for Japanese rock bands to kick off Japan and be active overseas. For sure, it is not rare any more to find the Japanese bands that go on a foreign tour without making their major debut.

Man With A Mission, call MWAM for short. The young band is also getting in foreign countries, while MWAM already made their major debut in 2011. Their achievement was so admired as they won the CD Shop Annual Grand Prize twice in a row, and they made a go of concerts in America some times. In 2013, Man With A Mission was decided to make their all-American debut.

Well, in 2014 February, they released “Beef Chicken Pork”; their compilation album all written in English. It means their first business card to the world.

Take a look at MWAM, and you must wonder. They are made up of five band members and their heads are all wolves, not human. When they appear in public, even when they are playing on the stage, they look all wolf men who act as a band. Just like some old Visual Kei band, it is all unknown how old they are and what country they belong to.

However, the music is, not only shout of wolves, rock of high quality which universally sounds well. You would feel no narrow-minded listening to their songs. “Beef Chicken Pork” includes no songs written in Japanese. English becomes their numbers more than Japanese.

Man With A Mission, the carnivorous five are showing the world their fangs. That is supposed by the compilation album. It is their visiting card and also their invitation they give you all over the world.
