All Words & Music by Revo
All unique are the songs, the action style, and the vision of Sound Horizon.
Sound Horizon calls itself as a fantasy band. But its member is merely Revo. On all such occasions, he invites necessary players and singers, then, makes up the songs. They are an unformed band, you know.
Their music is named as story music. Revo creates his original world under a concept, within their story CD. All along the idea, he builds up songs, sound effects, visual arts, and narration. On their sixth story CD “Moira,” they used Greek mythology as a subject. From the beginning to the end, it shows you one story and its unique world.
Moira means, needless to say, three goddesses that manage our destinies in Greek mythology. You read it as Mira in this album, however. That is to say, Revo has created his original story based on Greek mythology and there are countless ways to interpret “Moira.”
Revo put a marvelous lineup of singers, like Iwasaki Yoshimi, Utsunomiya Takashi, Shimotsuki Haruka, and so on. As the narrators, Yukana, Ohtsuka Akio, Hidaka Noriko, Fukami Rika and others joined. Then, the fantastic world was nicely born.
Sound Horizon deviates from all limitations and practical sense, and shows us their original world. Their “Moira” debuted at No. 1 on the Oricon daily album charts and at No. 3 on the weekly charts.
That means nothing but “Moira” goes over well with both of their old fans and Sound Horizon beginners.
