Hello, everyone. Today, I'm mentioning about "The Yellow Monkey is Here. New Best," the self-cover best album of the Yellow Monkey, a Japanese rock band.

01.ロザーナ(2017 LIMITED SPECIAL SINGLE CD)

Blue lines are my recommendations.

The self-cover best was released on May 21 in celebration of their major label debut 25th anniversary. It features new recordings of the first sixteen songs from 2013's "Yemon -Fan's Best Selection-," the list of which was voted on by their big fans.

By the way, "The Yellow Monkey is Here. New Best" is their first best album that ranked as No.1 at Oricon Weekly Chart.

As the 2017 LIMITED SPECIAL SINGLE CD, it includes the 2nd CD which contains only "Roseana." The special song is unavailable in rental stores and music download shops, therefore, you must buy the best or watch the official video on YouTube for checking out the "Roseana."

My conclusion says, now, "Roseana" is better than other 16 songs. The meaning of buying the self-cover best is, I can say, getting the special song.

The main 16 songs are, of course, not bad. However, they are naturally different from each original version, because the Yellow Monkey has got older. sometimes it feels kind of strange. It does not mean the 16 songs are not good.

But you must never feel strange in listening to the "Roseana." The new song clearly tells how the Yellow Monkey goes now. "The Yellow Monkey Is Here" said the "Roseana," in other words. Relativity of the new-recording songs and the new song shows what they are now.
