Hello, everyone. Today, I'd like to pick up "Universal Library," the 38th studio album of Yuming, Matsutoya Yumi who is a Japanese long-lived pop diva. She has been well-known for her hit songs as "Hello, my friend" and "Anniversary."
First, I must explain who Yuming is. She made her major debut in 1972 when she was 18 years old. From the time on, holding her heads high, she's been in the Japanese pop music field.
The "Universal Library" was out in 2016 November. It naturally includes Yuming's career of 44 years. At the edge of the 44 years, in other words, Yuming decided to release the "Universal Library."
The title "Universal Library" has nothing to do with Akashic Records, by the way.
Why did she name "Universal Library?" I believe Yuming was sure that she could express something universal with her talent and career.
"Good music makes us think of something like scenery" said Matsutoya Masataka, Yuming's husband and the producer of "Universal Library." It means that the studio album with a surreal title is full of gimmicks which let you call something universal to your mind somehow.
If you call something universal to your mind with the songs in "Universal Library," it is also the gift from the old talented couple. Well, what kind of books will you take in the "Universal Library?"
