Nippon Paper Crecia has produced and launched the ultimate facial tissue, Shikou since 2008. Using it once, it makes you have no other types of facial tissue.

They established Sanyo Scott, a joint venture of Sanyo Pulp and Scott Paper, in 1961. And in 1964, they gave birth to the first facial tissue box in Japan. Namely, Sanyo Scott had summoned daybreak of facial tissue box to Japan. Facial tissue has spread very much all over Japan as Japanese single persons mostly have the box in their rooms. Sanyo Scott was the predecessor of Nippon Paper Crecia which has belonged to the group of Nippon Paper Industries.

Nippon Paper Industries, they hold the second place of Japanese papermaking and hold the eighth place in the world. Before everything, they would have pride as the pioneer of Japanese facial tissue. They have developed and launched the ultimate facial tissue amongst all kinds of facial tissue since November of 2008. It is Shikou.

Firstly, we cannot help mentioning about the softness. Tenderness of facial tissue paper consists of entwinement of many primary factors as drying temperature after papermaking, the combination ratio of coniferous pulp and broad leaf pulp and the like. They had repeated numberless tries and errors to make the most comfortable paper for human faces. Without any lotion, they finally realized the supreme facial tissue outshining the touch of lotion tissue paper.

Not just the touch, they have completed the ultimate on water absorbing power and the strength. May it be that people reward a good work without compromise? They produced and published the new product of Shikou series; Hagoromo in Dec. 2010, and 500 sets of the new product have sold out for two weeks although they forecasted it needed two months.

Hagoromo means a robe of feathers and is four-ply paper. It lets us feel the softest touch as a robe of a heavenly maiden when it is tough and solid. By the way, Shikou is three-ply. We can feel their persistent questing spirit from both of them.
