The beginning story of Anpanman
Crossing centuries, a hero has been loved by children. He is Anpanman, written by Yanase Takashi.
Surprisingly, the head of Anpanman is anapn; bread filled with red bean jam. He divides a part of his head and gives it to hungry people. Yanase says heroes should first save hungry people because it is the hardest for mankind to be unable to eat.
A real first story of Anpanman, released in 1969, was that an ordinary man gave the poor food. His head became anpan in 1973.
