Chemical shoes are often called as the third shoes in Japan. In 1950s, it was born in Kobe, Hyogo. They developed technology of processing synthetic leather like vinyl chloride and that improved chemical shoes. In 2010s now, in Kobe, they are still producing almost 100 percent of chemical shoes manufactured in Japan.
