Were fiber scopes born in Japan?
Fiber scopes, called I-Camera in Japanese, were firstly developed by Tokyo University and Olympus in cooperation. And they produced the scopes in 1950. Lately Olympus has made it in developing tablet-shaped fiber scopes for the small intestine.
