Terada Honke Brewery is a long-established brewery in Chiba. Their representative brand is “Gonin-musume” (Five Daughters) made from only rice and rice malt. They brew nothing but natural sake.

History of the long-established brewery was started in 1670s. Terada the 24th is in charge of the representative director.
Can you trace back your ancestry to 1670s? It is supposed most of Japanese, including me, are unable. Namely, their brewing history is almost beyond our perception.
You can be safe to drink their sake because they use only pesticide-free rice to brew. Moreover, the cultivators are made public at their official website, which will make you feel easier.
So-called modern pesticides became popular in Japan around 1900. Considering about their long history, it must be overly natural for Terada Honke Brewery to use the pesticide-free.

Against my expectation, however, they are said to have started the natural sake when the last was the director. On the verge of closing down, it is said they decided to brew what works for someone else.
Like mentioned above, they got to brew the natural sake for administrative reason. It also looks like return to the starting point, but. Probably, it was forced by their bygone history.
Their “Five Daughters” are also based on the invisible power, probably. A first drink must feel kind of difficult. However, you will be absorbed in the taste by some times.
