Little Kiss which perfumes like chocolate for cacao mass, is a kind of unique shochu brewed by Higashi Brewery in Kagoshima. They were established in 1915, namely, congratulation 100th anniversary!
Shochu can also be “sho” and “chu.” Sho also means “Little” and chu does “Kissing” in Japanese. In other words, it comes from their playing on words.

Made from Rice, Malted Rice (White), Cacao Mass
It is very easy to imagine somebody says “Wait, wait a minute. You just have to tell me what cacao mass is.” Cacao mass appears after ferment, dry and roast endosperm of cacao beans. Endosperm is essential nutriment for sprouting.
Cacao mass includes cocoa butter so much and you can process and make cocoa powder. Moreover, cacao mass has a lot of dietary fiber said to work for strengthening immunity and preventing constipation and diabetes.
Little Kiss is made from the cacao mass, Japan-made rice and malted rice produced inside. Though colorless, it uniquely perfumes like chocolate and satisfies your nose. They say that alcohol content 16 was set up in order to utilize the fragrance to maximum. D'oh, dear! My slight regret says I should have given it to my girlfriend on her 20th birthday.
