About our introductory articles

Le Bonheur
Le Bonheur, a specialty store which has dealt with leather bags in Rokkoh Island, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. There are originally many stylish structures in the island, and the store is no exception.

Master and his wife have thoroughly managed the store, from producing to after-sales service. Work is not divided between two. Each of them has produced each leather bag with making use of their originality, and has worked closely together for a long time.

Their new tote bag
The picture shows us Le Bonheur’s new tote bag. It became on sale in this October. Basically they once made the tote and set on sale about ten years ago. A customer happened upon the bag and longed for. That is reason why Le Bonheur decided to produce it again.

The new bag is not just a copy of the old tote bag they once made. Using different kinds of leather, they succeeded to give new splendor to the tote. What kind of leather they decided to use is Shrunken Calf from Germany, and Minerva Box from Italy.

Let me explain a little. Shrunken Calf is German leather of calves within six months old. Normally, leather loses its colors in being used, due to ageing. But Shrunken Calf hardly loses. Its brightness for a long time keeps because of original special processing, that is because it is very popular. On the other hand, Minerva Box is Italian leather whose ageing has taken many people with it.

Getting in the store, you see various kinds of leather bags and leather products. Some of them were manufactured by their acquaintances, they say. As the interview tells, loving leather has let them themselves. So you do not have to worry about the qualities of the products. Recommending you visit and see once to search for your beloved bag, is because their work is steadfast and the store's atmosphere will let you calm and relaxed.
