Porter is a Japanese bag brand of popularity, totally produced by Yoshida & Co., Ltd. And Extreme is a Porter series whose bags bring new shine to your outdoor activity.

Yoshida & Co., Ltd. is considered as the most popular bag maker in Japan. But that is limitedly amongst Japanese salaried class. We seldom see children use the bags in Japan. If you had ever found, it must have been a young bag freak. Moreover, Japanese women almost tend to desire to own Prada or Louis Vuitton rather than Yoshida.

You know, as shown by what was mentioned above, Yoshida is well-known as a maker that produces fine business bags.

Not every salaried person has business bags, however. Let alone people that take the train daily to work, some use mountain bicycles and others take their motorbikes. It is difficult to think they are choosing Yoshida, a popular brand of business bags.

We’d like to let them know about Porter / Extreme. The main product of the brand is not a kind of business bags, but Ruck sacks and daypacks. Extreme was established as the best lineup of their nylon bags in 2000, and then, it is all for somebody outdoorsy and active.

Taking a look at a rucksack of Porter / Extreme, you are finding many attractive points like functional pockets, painted mainly black and it is so stain-resistant, tough to the rain and the wind, and so on. In my opinion, the most attractive point is the casual needlework which shows Porter. That says “This is a bag of Porter, although it is hard to see.” What a cute silent sign it is!

Yoshida does not own their factory, instead a lot of craftsmen make their bags. That is their way. And so, Porter / Extreme bags tell us stylishness and silent pride of Japanese craftsmen.
