Asari-chan
Read, Guys Who Don’t Know What Women Are!
Asari-chan is a Japanese manga written by Muroyama Mayumi. It is for all kinds of men, women, boys and girls. Especially, I believe, that manga should be read by the males who have some illusions about females because they have seldom got in touch with women.
Muroyama Mayumi consists of the two women; Muroyama Mayumi and her two years younger sister Muroyama Mariko. They started Asari-chan in 1978 summer and finished in 2014 spring. It kept going on until volume 100 of comics.
Hamano Asari belongs to the fourth grade at elementary school and acts its main role. As mentioning about Japanese overemphasis of educational qualifications, however, the young and the old, man and woman can enjoy Asari-chan although it had been on magazines for children. Therefore, I believe, Asari-chan must have been loved by many people for 36 years.
Main casts of Asari-chan are Hamano Asari and her family members. That is her two years older sister Hamano Tatami, Her father Hamano Iwashi who works at a drug company, her mother Hamano Sang, and their dog Unyo who appears after volume 40. Namely, Asari-chan is manga which describes a family that includes sisters, illustrated and written by real sisters.
You know what it means? Asari-chan straightly and frankly describes the realities of Japanese girls, needless to say, including lots of gags.
“Woman is an enemy of another woman” said Muroyama Mayumi in their book Diet Tadaima Zenpaichu!! And the two made true facts about girls appear also in Asari-chan, with a lot of humor and poison.
It is often said there are many guys who tend to love fictional female characters living only in pictures, or who happen to pile their inner illusions about women on fictional female persons because they cannot fall in love to someone real.
As mentioned above, everybody can enjoy Asari-chan. I’d like to recommend those callow males to read the manga. Asari-chan will kick off their inner illusions and wake up at once.
