About our introductory articles

I suppose you don't know what Odajima Takashi is. He is the Japanese popular columnist born in 1956 Tokyo. His first column collection "Waga Kokoro-wa IC ni-arazu" was out in 1988 (We are pretty hard to get it in 2022 today). And then he released his numberless columns at various media. His writing style had an influence a lot upon many writers like Takeda Satetsu. Sorry, he passed away in 2022 June. Please let me here say "Thank you Odajima Takashi." May the great columnist rest in peace.

Well, he started to use Twitter in 2009, often tweeted so many times until his last month. Takeda Satetsu somehow selected some of them, edited for a book. Then released was the book "From A Calamity To Another (Saikan-no Uta)." The Selection of Odajima Takashi's tweets was published by Cyzo in 2020 October.

Takeda selected the ones that Odajima tweeted from 2011 to 2020. In 2011, we Japanese people had the Tohoku Earthquake. And the Covid-19 pandemic attacked us in 2020. Between the two disasters, Odajima kept tweeting a lot. What will we get after reading the selected tweets? I don't know. But it will be what Japan kept holding as problems, I suppose. I read it for a real fun.
