Hello, everyone! How are you? Today, I'm talking about "Kennin-ji" in Kyoto. The temple is said to be the place of Myōan Eisai, a Zen master, who firstly brought the Rinzai school to Japan. So it's very important to those who belong to the school and also Zen Buddhism.

First of all, how can we go to the temple? Taking the Hankyu Kyoto line would automatically bring you to the Kawara-machi station, the line's terminal. Off the station and walk southeastward for a while, that will make you reach to the Kennin-ji soon.
Around the Kennin-ji, there're a lot of Japanese old-style buildings which have a historical atmosphere. I saw countless foreign people enjoying there on a weekday. Be careful enough or get lost easily.

It's said that Myōan Eisai passed away at the Kennin-ji in 1215. The temple can be the place of the great Zen master, therefore. If you were kind of interested in Zen Buddhism, it is worth visiting once, isn't it?
