Total balance is important in its own way on a fashion, needless to mention about shirts and pants. Even wearing a stylish shirt, you will look uncool with worn-out shoes or boorish trousers. It means you have to direct yourself totally and meanwhile, you must pay attention to small articles like belts, not only clothing.

Now, I am introducing a belt brand in Tokyo, Japan. That is “Knot” built in 2011, by the Morikawa brothers who have been as a belt maker since their grandfather’s time. They longed to treasure what’s between the maker and the user and then, named “Knot.” Belts of “Knot” might look kind of uncouth, but are filled with spirit of trueborn belt makers. It intends to go simple with high quality and does not head for something novel.

We can often see some belts produced by leather bag makers at their stores. It is alright. They say “every man to his trade,” however. You can get the true belts produced by trueborn belt makers at “Knot.” In other words, “Knot” has reason why they make belts. The solid backbone tells you “Knot” is really a good belt maker.

“Knot” has three labels. Mercer is a casual line. It is said their father used to be called Mercer. Attire (means dressing up) is for business and ceremonial occasions. The third is Morikawa that uses first-class materials. All of them deserve to adorn gentlemen’s waists with the grace and quality.
