Asada-ame is a Japanese long-time cough drop maker since the Meiji era (Ame means Candy in Japanese language). But the "Propolis Manuka-honey Cough Drops" don't last so long. In my case, it melts away in my mouth before 30 minutes. Of course, we can find differences according to each individual.
It tastes lemon and ginger. I guess you take and feel like a lemon-flavored candy. It tastes sour. Sweetness? I hardly feel it. The color is almost gold.
