Futaba Foods is a food production company originally established in 1945 when Japan was lost in the World War 2. They've mainly produced ice cream products. Just after the war, there were hardly any kinds of stuff in Japan. Therefore, Futaba Foods longed to give Japanese people deliciousness of ice cream at low price.
In other words, their longing was making popular ice cream loved among wide generations. Based on the idea, they produced best-seller ice cream products one by one.
"Sacre Lemon" is one of their best-sellers. The shaved ice with a slice of lemon was developed and launched in 1985. If you have not had, you'll be surprised at the slice which first appears when you take the lid off.
Many people have been prisoners of the harmony with lemon's sourness and syrup's sweetness, for over these three decades.
In 2015, by the way, Futaba Foods showed us a new version of the Sacre series, "Sacre Chocolate." They stated it was a new Sacre for fall and winter. The new one is also tasty with the shaved ice and chocolate chips. Now, my recommendation is to have after about three minutes from freezers in winter.
