Kracie Foods released the "European Sugar Cone" in 1986. Since then, a lot of Japanese women, especially housewives, have been almost absorbed in the ice cream.

Why do they so love the Sugar Cones? In fact, in 1980's, then women had a longing for European culture more than today, though you might tell from the big hit of "the Rose of Versailles." Eating ice cream with sugar cones in the street brought them, therefore, to the ideal European world for a while.

Young girls could easily go to street. However, most of housewives were almost difficult to have a time to doll up and go to street because they were busy for child care and domestic duties. Kracie longed to let them easy to feel the ideal European world for a while.

Then, they developed and launched the "European Sugar Cone" in 1986.

One of the traits is the waffle-dough cones. In 1980's, general were the tasteless cones on the boxed ice cream products. They had to go to street in order to eat ice cream with the waffle-dough cones at the time. Needless to say, its taste is also marvelously yummy.

The "European Sugar Cone" is still one of Kracie Foods' key commodities. Over three decades, the ideal ones have been loved by lots of Japanese housewives.
