Hello. I'm so glad that you are here with me now. And would you let me talk about Miso-katsu for a while? Do you know what it is? No problem even if no. There is the photo which straightly gives you the image of Miso-katsu. Seeing was believing, said someone.

How? You have got it? And let me explain simply. Miso-katsu is the well-known local dish of Aichi. Do you know where Aichi is? It is the urban region of central Japan. The city almost stands between Tokyo and Osaka. Miso-katsu means the pork cutlet with the sauce based on Hacho-miso. And why do they put the sauce based on Hacho-miso over pork cutlets? Hacho-miso is one of the Aichi specialties, in fact. It is popular that Aichi people have several local dishes that use Hacho-miso, miso-katsu is one of them.

However, in 2015, one Japanese book points miso-katsu was first born in Mie. Do you know where Mie is? Mie is next to Aichi. And so it is not a mystery that they have something common. But it means miso-katsu is also the local dish of Mie. I have no idea about the truth at all. I feel making it clear forcibly is mostly meaningless. I just can say miso-katsu is the local dish of central Japan. Either way, deliciousness of miso-katsu is changeless.
