About our introductory articles

Hello, everybody. I'm so pleased to see you here with me today. I'm talking about Royce' Nama Chocolate now. Do you know Royce'? No, no, they are not Rolls-Royce in Europe. They never manufacture any luxury cars.

Have you ever been to Hokkaido, Japan? At one corner of the Shin-chitose Airport, the entrance of Hokkaido, you can find Royce' Chocolate World. I have found "Royce'" on some boarding bridges in the airport. Those tell us Royce' is a Hokkaido company that manufactures and launches sweets like chocolates.

They were founded in 1983 Hokkaido. They had produced some sweets like chocolate bars since their foundation. One day, the president had a chocolate truffle. Do you know it? A kind of chocolate which covers creamy chocolate with tough chocolate. He ate it and conceived of an idea. Why not produce and launch the content, creamy chocolate? It led them to Nama Chocolate.

I, oh, have to explain what Nama Chocolate is. It is a kind of chocolate which includes fresh cream more than usual ones. Usual chocolates include 2 - 4 % moisture, it is said, but the Nama Chocolate do about 18 % since they include fresh cream so much. Amazing! Hokkaido is popular as one agricultural power, so maybe they are no difficult to procure good fresh cream (milk).

Beyond the winding road, they began to produce and launch Nama Chocolate in 1995. Today they say it sold over 20 million sets a year. The number shows the popularity, doesn't it?

How about it? It touches silky in mouth. They prepare several types of flavor at the stores. Mild White, Orange Liqueur, Bitter and so on. Wouldn't you let me show my opinion? I like Champagne most. Attention! It includes fresh milk so much as mentioned above. Then, it requires refrigeration. It means you have to keep them refrigerated if you'd like to eat them in a correct way. Don't forget it, please.

You are difficult to get Royce' Nama Chocolates in the main islands of Japan, because they almost sell their products in nowhere but Hokkaido. If you desire to try, you must use their online shop or go to Hokkaido actually.
