■From the time on, you have knitted many kinds of things for this decade. You enjoy an established reputation for your speedy knitting, as improvising the knitted for performance. What is a knitted work you spent the longest time during this decade?

T: It must be…the first chandelier of about 150 cm in diameter, for an event in fall of 2006. I spent about a month. I had not made any chandeliers and took a lot of time to adjust like keeping balance. Now I have got used to making and must be able to knit faster than before.

■I saw the picture of the work. The chandelier is really overwhelming!

T: Thanks. But not just complicated works like that, I also knit some easy articles. Some times I have held knitting workshops at events and knitted various kinds of things like neckties, ornaments and so on.

■Knitting beginners are also?

T: Yes, so time is prepared enough.

■What is different between your past works and your recent knitted products?

T: Every time I see my past works, I feel they are full of impetus. They always make me feel running of younger blood without hesitation. Most of their designs will never be used again, I think. Probably, I used because I had little studied about dresses and their accessories. Even now, I knit trying not to forget the momentum. However, I feel some of matured out of my notice.
