B’z is a Japanese rock band which consists of Inaba Koshi (Vocal) and Tak Matsumoto (Guitar). The two got to create their 19th original album “Epic Day” in 2014 August, and released in 2015 March.
“Epic Day” took the first prize on Oricon Weekly Album Chart and is said to sell 287,308 copies in the first half year. It appeared on the chart 23 weeks.
Listening to the contents, you can get a high-quality hard rock performed by B’z and their fellows like Shane Gaalaas and Barry Sparks from USA. The 10 songs hardly sound as pop music, although it has gotten a great amount of popularity in Japan.
At the sixth, “Epic Day,” you will hear hard rock like Deep Purple or White Sneak, though I felt kind of modernity on the drums. Through the blood of B’z, 70s and 80s rock must still flow and burn. Sounding heavy and high, their “Epic Day” expresses the perfection, it is supposed.
With the DVD included on the limited edition, you can check one of their 2012 live concerts. They held the USA tour and therefore, also triumphant return concerts in Japan. The final is shown by the DVD.
In other words, the “Epic Day” gives you the present perfection and the past performance of B’z.
