Hello, everybody. One of the biggest news in 2017 is retirement of Amuro Namie, a Japanese popular diva. She's going to retire in 2018 September. In advance of the retirement, she released her last best album "Finally."
"Finally" sold over a million in the first week. It means that many Japanese people were as sad as getting to buy the last best album although most of them had hardly heard her songs. Her last studio album "_genic" (2015) couldn't sell even 400,000 copies.
Let me talk about the contents. There are 52 songs in the 3 disks. The 39 songs were newly recorded, in fact. It's said she had constantly rerecorded since 2017 May. Paying a lot of effort, money and time, why did she have to do so?
Amuro Namie must deeply have known there were some who desired to listen to the old hit song without new recording. Why did she decide to rerecord? The key to solve the question is, I believe, hiding in the music table. Take a look at the right table. That's it.
Taking a look makes you know it contains 52 songs. On the other hand, when you play the CD, it becomes difficult to cue. I can hardly deny that the design is unkind. Why did she choose this way?
