About our introductory articles

Sir: With an assistant A, I will talk about the Mujin-eki, the debut song of Iwasa Misaki who'd belonged to AKB48. Here we go!

A: The first time when we talked together was the article about Matsuri. Let's mention about Enka after a long interval, sir!

S: I don't wanna believe 5 years already passed from that time!

A: (Ignoring) This song is the debut single of Iwasa Misaki, released in 2012 February when she'd still belonged to AKB48 and Watarirouka Hashiritai 7. Those groups were produced by Akimoto Yasushi. Talking of the Enka singer from a pop idol group produced by Akimoto, I think of Jo-nouchi Sanae from Onyanko Club, sir.

S: I agree. I heard Jo-nouchi had originally longed to be an Enka singer, but don't know about Iwasa's case. Iwasa entered AKB48 in 2008. I wonder how good she could sing at the beginning time.

A: Why not listen to her actual singing, sir?

S: I don't think that she is a wrong Enka-singer. Actually, she has constantly released her singles now.

A: I can't believe that her debut didn't warm the Enka field up. In 2012, AKB48 was so popular that Maeda Atsuko's graduation became the front page news, sir.

S: There is no reason that anything warms up the field. Today Enka is one of Japanese classical entertainment, actually not a genre of popular music. So no wind blows in the field no matter how great the new one comes up.

A: How come, sir?

S: A root of Enka is Nakayama Shinpei born in the Meiji period. But the line had been encroached on by some pop singers like Nakajima Miyuki and Sada Masashi during the 1980's. That pulled Enka out of popular music and became one of the classical.

A: It means Iwasa has to do it in the classical━━

S: Right. But I believe going on the Enka road is more stable than struggling in the pop field, because clear is what to do. I truly want her to be a new star in the field.
