A Japanese pop rock band of popularity, Mr.Children released their 18th original album CD “Reflection {Drip}” in 2015 June. At the same time, they published their USB album “Reflection {Naked}” including 23 songs in High Res. Selecting 14 from the 23, the CD waits for you.

It is very difficult to rightly define what the 18th original album means. A lot of fans of the band are all over Japan, including young and aged. Some shall say it is a masterpiece without any doubt, and another will tell it is none the better for the change.
As the word “Reflection” shows, these 14 songs shines reflecting each other. The first one is “未完” (Incomplete) and the last is named “足音～Be Strong.” (Footsteps –Be Strong-) Then, we can see that Mr.Children regards this album as one of their turning points and is willing to move ahead as a pop monster. “Reflection {Naked}” also sets “未完” at the last and therefore, the song is supposed to be the key of the album.
“未完” sings about their strong volition to get out from the present situation and move ahead, neither sour-sweet memories of adolescent days nor the spiritual road to Buddhahood. The will means 2015 Mr.Children. In other words, that must be their message which says “Would you look forward to Mr.Children from now on?”
Irresponsible news said Mr.Children created “Reflection” getting separated from Kobayashi Takeshi; a famous musical producer who had looked after Mr.Children since their debut. However, they changelessly cooperated with him on some songs in the album. It is supposed Kobayashi is no more absolute to Mr.Children but is still a good partner to high quality pop music.
Listening to “Reflection” like a preview of Mr.Children’s future and looking forward to. Does it sound whimsical? But that is a calm diversion. I suggest it is a way to enjoy pop music.
