About our introductory articles

Olfa is an Osaka company that has produced most of Japanese box cutters. And we are introducing their “Poki Station,” a blade disposal box.

They are a pioneer of utility knives you can snap for sharpening. But it is supposed there are many who keep using without any snapping. You do not care when the blades go dull? That is nothing but ignoring the advantage, you know.

You might say “Snapping a blade is frightening, is not it? At the worst, the snapped piece flies and cuts my skin. I am unable to make it because of fear.” I can understand that terror. When you are with your little kids, it must be all the more bloodcurdling.

“Poki Station” is a blade disposal case for keeping you away from the dread, because you will easily snap with the one. Insert a utility knife into a slit on the box, and give the lever a push. You do not need to feel afraid because the snapped piece is destined to fall down inside the “Poki Station.”

The handling instructions say “We never guarantee when you use for box cutters produced by other companies.” Their Japanese official site says that their cutters are the world standard today, however. Actually, I tried other company’s one and made it in peace. Of course, I also never guarantee since I have not tried all kinds of utility knives on the earth.

Disposal cases are convenient but often lost somehow because we rarely need. Then, they put a pocket and you can usually take it as an accessory case. It is a functional disposal case, is not it?
