In 1977, NASA launched two unmanned spacecrafts, Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 for looking into the outer solar system and outside the system. That must be human spirit of romantic adventure as passed down beyond the boarder or thought.

Such Voyager can be assembled with only paying 2,100 yen, tax in. 1/48 Voyager the Unmanned Spacecraft is it, manufactured by Hasegawa Corporation. They let it on sale in June of 2012, as the second of their Science World series and the kit became very popular.


1/72 DSV Shinkai 6500

Since 2011, the Science World series have been developed for spreading pleasure of knowing, it means fun of science, in assembling models. By the way, the first of the series is 1/72 DSV Shinkai 6500, a popular type of manned search submarines in Japan. The price is 2,100 yen tax in., same as this Voyager.

Speaking of Hasegawa, they have been acknowledged for their fine airplane models as called Hasegawa of Airplanes. The kit of Voyager is also so delicate and exquisite although it is easy for beginners to assemble. Moreover, just paying 2,100 yen lets you get it.

Have you ever heard Voyager Golden Record called The Sounds of Earth? The golden records are included aboard both Voyager spacecrafts, provided for meeting with extraterrestrial life. And the kit includes the record, too. Its fineness also makes model fans happy.
